Hello!
How has your week been fairing so far? Our autumn weather has been so nice as of late that I'm finding it hard to stay inside and craft; I want to take full advantage of the sunshine while I can!
I'm still working on catching you up with cards and projects I've made over the last while and this cute little Dinosaur is next on the list. When it comes to children's cards I more often than not lean towards punch art just because I feel its so much for versatile and allows me for more creativity. A side step card like this one gives the card serious dimension and even more importantly, it gives me more real estate to work with which is ALWAYS a win win!
Quite a few of the elements within this card were free hand cut and I did use a few punches that have since been retired (anyone else still shedding tears from all the punches that are no longer available?). A cute feature that I think makes this card a little more special is the "lava" coming out of the volcano. I cut pieces of heavier clear jewelry wire and attached sequins with a Fine Tip Glue Pen.
