Sweet Pea Sympathy

I found a really simple technique on making paper sweet peas on fellow demonstrator Judy Mashall's  blog; a link to her tutorial can be found HERE.  In short you punch a butterfly from cardstock, dampen it with water then crumple and unfold; re-shape it then set aside to dry.  The buds are made with half a butterfly.  The green buds of the flowers are made from sections of a scallop circle punch.  I glued everything together with Tombow and adhered them to the card with sticky strip to ensure they wouldn't fall off.  I will definitely try to make them again - I think my folding technique could use a little practice.

Supplies:

Stamp sets: Thoughts and Prayers
Cardstock: Whisper White, Pool Party, Primrose Petals, Always Artichoke, Rich Razzleberry, Pretty in Pink, Wisteria Wonder
Ink: Primrose Petals
Accessories: Primrose Petals satin stitched ribbon, Beautiful Wings embosslits (largest butterfly), scallop circle punch, Tombow liquid adhesive, sticky strip

Thanks so much for looking!
