Brayered Daisy Sunset

Good Morning!

Over the last four months I was able to participate in a Secret Sister card swap with members of my upline group.  In total we created four cards; today I'd like to share one of them with you.

I love to brayer but haven't used  the technique in a while so I decided to start there, along with the miniature version of the Upsy Daisy stamp from April's Best of Flowers set (for more info on the Best of 25 Years sets, please check out the sidebar on the left or search my Promotions page).

Supplies:

Stamp Sets: Best of Flowers, Oh, Hello
Cardstock: Whisper White, Cajun Craze, So Saffron, Basic Black
Ink: Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze, Old Olive, Always Artichoke, Basic Black
Accessories: Oval Collection Framelits, Bitty Butterfly punch, 1 1/4" Circle punch, Chevron embossing folder, So Saffron Taffeta ribbon, Brayer, sponges, sticky strip, glue dots

To create the brayered image:

Cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock with the third to smallest oval framelit.  Mask off the sun with a 1 1/4" circle punched from a post it note.  Begin by brayering Daffodil Delight over 2/3 of the oval.  Brayer Pumpkin Pie over the Daffodil Delight, leaving some of the latter exposed.  Finish the sky by brayering Cajun Craze on just the upper 1/3 of the sky.

Brayer Old Olive on the bottom 1/3 of the cardstock, meeting up with the Daffodil Delight from the sky.  Brayer Always Artichoke on the very bottom of the cardstock.  Remove the mask and sponge Daffodil Delight with the sun.  Stamp the Upsy Daisy image using Basic Black ink along the grassline (the image will require being stamped approximately 3-4 times - if needed used a Stamp-a-ma-jig for perfect alignment).  Stamp the Oh, Hello sentiment in Basic Black ink in the upper left hand side of the image.
