Happy Friday!
I know I said in yesterday's post I was done with Winter projects but I had this one on the go for the last week and just put the finishing touches on it a couple nights ago! I hope you don't mind - it's for a good cause I promise - my Niece is turning the big 3 next week and she is Frozen OBSESSED (as I am sure every little girl is!).
I wanted to make a card that was a little unique to some of the others I've seen out there and as usual the idea came when they always do...when I'm trying to sleep LOL. I envisioned Elsa's beautiful ice castle and I think the finished product turned out pretty darn close. My validation on kid related projects almost always comes from one of my boys so when I asked Griffin what he thought it was and he immediately said, "Elsa's Castle!" I knew I had a winner :) I wish you could see it in person - it sparkles and shimmers just like real ice! Given as a gift it would be a nice touch to add in a battery operated tea light; the castle REALLY comes to life then!
And the best part of the ice castle? If you guessed that its a Card in a Box, you'd be right! I made the tag as an addition so I could write her Birthday message on the back of it instead of cluttering the walls of the castle.
As I'm fairly certain that there might be a few other little girls out there that might enjoy Elsa's Castle as much as I'm hoping my Niece does, I thought I would make a Template and Tutorial available. Just click on the Online Store tab at the top of my blog and you'll be able to purchase an automatic download so you can get started right away!

Are you going to do a video or offer this as a project? It really is adorable and every Frozen girl will want one.
