Lest We Forget

Whew! How the heck is it Wednesday already??  It's almost been a week since my last post - I've been working on 2 Christmas projects for the upcoming U Stamp With Dawn and Friends Wrapping up the Holidays session.  So much fun but I get so caught up in them I forget to work on other stuff!  I'll be posting photos soon - these gals are simply amazing with the ideas they come up with!

For today's card I thought I would focus on Remembrance Day.  Although I don't know anyone who has personally served our country, I'm extremely proud of all they do and have done.  After all, they play a huge role in just one of the many reasons Canada is such a great place to live and call home!  Plus this card let me practice my marker layering skills :)

Supplies:

Stamp sets: Fabulous Florets, Word Play
Cardstock: Watercolor paper, Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake
Ink: Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Staz-On
Accessories: Real Red, Cherry Cobbler, Bravo Burgundy, Lucky Limenade, Gumball Green, Sahara Sand markers, white gel pen, Framelits Labels Collection, Scallop edge border punch, Very Vanilla grosgrain ribbon (retired), sponges, snail

Until my next post...
