Happy Friday!
Were headed off to a birthday party this afternoon so today's share is the gift tag I made for the occasion - who doesn't LOVE Angry Birds?! Overall this punch art is super simple; start to finish this tag took about 15-20 minutes to make!
The moment my son seen this tag I was commissioned to make the entire Angry Bird crew; which I'm hoping to turn into a step by step tutorial piece I'll share with you next week. Then you too can make Angry Birds to your hearts content ;)
Supplies:
Stamp sets: Make a Wish
Cardstock: Gumball Green, Tempting Turquoise, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White, Soft Sky (Subtles DSP Paper stack)
Ink: Basic Black
Punches: 1 3/4" circle, 1/2" circle, Owl, Pansy, Small Oval
Accessories: Basic Black marker, Tombow liquid adhesive, Calypso Coral Baker's Twine, White gel pen, hole punch
I will include these two into my tutorial next week, but if you can't wait till then here's a quick overview on how to assemble them:
Pig:
Punch from Gumball Green cardstock: 1- 1 3/4" circle, 3- 1/2" circles, 1- small oval
Punch from Whisper White cardstock: 2- 1/2" circles
Assemble as pictured using Tombow. Add details with a Basic Black marker and highlights with a white gel pen.
Blue Bird:
Punch from Tempting Turquoise cardstock: 1- petal from the Pansy punch, 1- small oval
Punch from Whisper White cardstock: 2- middle sized circles from the Owl punch
Freehand cut a beak from Pumpkin Pie cardstock.
Assemble as pictured using Tombow. Add dots to eyes with a Basic Black marker and highlights with a white gel pen.
The overall tag size measures 4" x 2 1/2" made from Tempting Turquoise. The inside layer was cut from Soft Sky Subtles paper pack slightly smaller and adhered again with Tombow. Punch a small hole in the corner of the tag and add a length of Calypso Coral baker's twine to attach to gift.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend! Until next time...
