Peek-a-Boo!

Hiya!

I know your thinking to yourself, whoa, where has she been?!  As I'm sure everyone can attest to summer in general is CRAZY!  I honestly don't know how it happens but BOOM! suddenly life multiplies itself by 100 (as does the laundry, dust bunnies, and those NASTY HORRIBLE THISTLES in my garden) and I'm left with minimal craft time.  I'm sure everyone feels this way but I've decided that the smiles on my kids faces running through the sprinkler trumps being inside, even if it is for card making.  I'll be catching up over the next couple of weeks with July Online Tutorials and regular posts so keep checking back!

Anyhow, I do have a project to share with you today!  These cards are from a recent project created for U Stamp with Dawn & Friends, Cards with Cool Moves.  This is a really neat interactive card called a Double Peek-a-Boo.  The concept is you see one set of cute animals when the card is closed and a second set of animals slides into the opening as you open the card.  Really fun to build!  Plus I was able to break out a brand new set from the new catalog called Zoo Babies (aren't they cute?).  If you would like to learn more on how to assemble this card along with about 40 others, head over to U Stamp with Dawn and Friends, Cards with Cool Moves.  You'll find a direct link blinkie in the left side bar.

And because its the beginning of a brand new month there is a new Best of Set available!  This month is the Best of Shelli and contains these images:
The item code for purchase is #133488 for $17.95

Also, for the month of July only if you buy 3 packs of SELECT Designer Series Paper, you get your fourth pack for FREE!
Before I sign off I thought I would share a couple of photos that I took over the last couple of days during Canada Day Celebrations.  The boys had a great time and had a busy couple of days!  On Sunday we had a fish fry and went for an evening boat ride.  Many cottages along the lake had fireworks so we caught a few fabulous light shows before heading home.  Yesterday we took in the local parade, had a BBQ lunch and spent the afternoon staying cool in the lawn sprinkler!  Overall a wonderful weekend - just one of many this summer I'm sure!

Until next time...
