Batman Birthday Punch Art

Hello!

Today I have a fun punch art share!  I originally seen this idea on another demonstrators website, France Martin.  I filed the idea away - and when the boys were invited to a spectacular Batman themed birthday party over the weekend I was thrilled to get the chance to put the idea into use!

Supplies:

Stamp sets: A Word for You
Cardstock: Basic Gray, Daffodil Delight, Basic Black
Ink: Basic Black, Daffodil Delight
Punches: Word Window, Large Oval
Big Shot: Ovals Framelits, Stripes embossing folder
Accessories: Mini brads, Tombow liquid adhesive, sponges, paper snips

Cut the third to smallest oval found in the Oval framelits from Daffodil Delight cardstock and sponges the edges with Daffodil Delight ink. Cut the second to smallest oval from Basic Black cardtock.  With the Word Window punch punch once on either side of center to create the top portion of the wings.  I free hand cut the ear/head shape with my paper snips.  On the bottom of the oval punch twice on either side of center, overlapping the punches to create the tail and bottom portion of the wings.  Layer this onto the Daffodil Delight oval with Tombow glue.  How super simple is that?!

See you back here tomorrow!  Have a wonderful sunshiny day!
