Hello!
I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! Over the next few days I will be sharing entries I entered into an annual Stampin' Up! contest for demonstrators called the Artisan Awards. Unfortunately I didn't make the top 20 this year - there is some amazing talent out there! This was my first year entering - perhaps next year will bring better results! In total I submitted 5 cards, 3 scrapbook pages, and 2 3-D projects so stay tuned to see them all!
This unique shaped easel card combines quite a few elements. It has quite a few layers, some 3-dimensional elements, a brayered background; and a technique called "out of the box".
Supplies:
Stamp sets: Take Care, Itty Bitty Banners
Cardstock: Whisper White, Pool Party, Crumb Cake, Birds of a Feather DSP
Ink: Cajun Craze, Cherry Cobbler, Chocolate Chip, Pool Party
Big Shot: Apothecary Accents Framelits, Floral Frames
Framelits, Lacy Brocade EF
Accessories: Basic Pearls, Brayer, Sponges, Simply Scored Scoring Tool, Stylus Tool, Paper Snips,
Stampin’ Dimensionals, Tombow

I'm sorry you didn't win. But this card is a winner in my books. Awesome work. Love all those layers.
Gosh Melissa, I can't imagine any entries of those that made the top 20 Artisans that are any prettier than this card (well, other than YOUR other entries)! It is absolutely beautiful! I would have never thought about using that Apothecary Accents framelit with that floral frames framelit like that, they are so complimentary together like that, and the way it's used as an easel card, wow! I am so bummed you didn't make it this year, you had to be a serious contender and so close. Thanks for sharing your entries with us. (Laura in CO)
