Forest Dance

Happy Thursday!

This is my fifth and final card I entered into the Artisan Award contest.  This Northern Light technique is quite near and dear to me so I really wanted to incorporate it into my entries.  I kept the layout and design quite simple so that the Lights would take center stage; the forest of Evergreen trees from the Lovely as a Tree set are perfect for this!  I love that you can still catch a glimpse of the lights dancing between the branches of the trees; what do you think?  Oh, and can I mention I'm still a little teary that the beautiful two-tone ribbon from the Spring catalog wasn't carried over to the new catalog?  It's so nice to work with and truly adds something a little special to a project - I know I won't be parting with my leftovers any time soon!

Supplies:

Stamp Sets: Lovely as a Tree
Cardstock: Whisper White, Basic Black, Tea For Two DSP
Classic Ink: Daffodil Delight, Lucky Limenade, Old Olive, Tempting Turquoise, Rich Razzleberry, Not Quite Navy, Basic Black
Big Shot: Ovals Framelits Collection
Accessories: Basic Gray/Basic Black Two Tone Ribbon, Basic Gray Glimmer Brads, Sponges, White Gel Pen, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Sticky Strip, Tombow, Paper Snips, Paper Piercing Tool, Mat Pack, Hole Punch
